• Keep an extra key on you. If you carry around a purse, you can keep an extra key in one of your compartments. • Another option is to have a wireless keypad installed outside of your garage, because you could hide a key inside of the garage. Of course, you should make sure to have a battery back up in the event of a power failure, because you wouldn’t want the door to fail to open.
• You could also hide a house key inside of a gutter. Tape it in there so that it will stay even during a rainstorm. This is a place a burglar would not be too likely to check for a spare key.
